We made the move to Jr Honda on September 18, 2010. Jonathan had a great first race weekend in the new competative class at CQMA. He didn't make it to the Main Event that weekend but we were really happy with his driving skills. His Shock broke in one of the heat races and he still finished 6th out of 7. No spinouts and no wrecks and he held his line beautifully.
His 2nd race weekend was this past weekend at AQMA. His first Jr Honda race on asphalt! Jonathan did fantastic! He qualified 5th out of 10 cars. In the first heat race, Jonathan was maintaining 3rd position until a bolt fell of his shock..yes again. After a quick trip to the pits, Jonathan was put at the end and ended 4th. Because he wasn't in the top 3, he had to drive the B Main. Jonathan started on the pole in the B Main. He had beautiful restarts, beautiful lines, and even lapped every car but one other car. Jonathan took the checkered flag! Jonathan made it to his first A Main event in Jr Honda!
In the Main event, Jonathan started 7th out 8 cars. Jonathan had 2 calls against him when trying to pass but that's the only way he's going to learn. Jonathan finished 7 out of 8.

- I race Quarter Midget race cars and I'm 7rs old. I drive on dirt and asphalt tracks. I won many races as a Jr Novice and I was the fast time qualifier at AQMA on 5/8/10. I moved up to Jr Honda 9/18/10 and I've made it to 4 "A Main" events including my first Regional Series A Main! I won a B Main and a Heat Race within my first 3 weeks of Jr Honda. I look forward to a great 2011 season.
