Practicing with the Sr Honda's.

Today Jonathan went to AQMA to practice since it was an organized training day. Organized training days consists of a series of mock races. Jonathan drove with the Jr Honda group during the first race. Jonathan drove fantastic and lapped the field in the race. I asked the trainer if Jonathan could practice with the Sr Honda group with no restrictor plate and the trainer agreed. Jonathan started last (out of 5 cars) in the Sr Honda group. Jonathan passed his way up to 1st place and lapped the field twice and took home the checkered flag!

In the second Sr Honda race, Jonathan started #2 on the outside (out of 8 cars). Jonathan quickly made a pass for first and lapped the field at least two times and brought home the checkered flag again.

In the third race, Jonathan started on the pole and maintained his position until there was about 5 laps to go. Hunter passed Jonathan when they came upon lapped traffic and Hunter took the lead. Hunter came in 1st and Jonathan came in 2nd. After the race, I found out Hunter was running with a Honda 160 motor!
